Spacee | Hover Touch
I was given the opportunity to present North Texas Artificial Intelligence company, Spacee, a compelling idea on how one of their products, Hover Touch, can best be used post-pandemic when customers are weary touching surfaces.
Client
Spacee is a Computer Vision and AI company creating augmented reality experiences and supply chain solutions for retail spaces.
Product
Hover Touch is an interactive touch-free display built to help create remarkable experiences for retail customers.
Site Visit Research
I conducted site studies at various retail locations to see how competitors had their experience setup. This was helpful in constructing ideas of how Hover Touch could possibly be implemented into a store.
Takeaways
Many retail locations had similar setups with phones to touch.
I did not encounter any touch-less experiences.
Sales associates shared that customers were well-informed and typically came into the store because they needed a problem solved that couldn’t be addressed over the phone.
Storyboarding
I created a storyboard to show how a customer may engage with the product in a given scenario. This particular story showcases an extreme persona named Ted. He is visually impaired and this event illustrates Hover Touch meets his needs and contributes to a better retail experience.
